St Julie’s expands sixth form facilities

Sixth form students at St Julie’s Catholic High School are enjoying extra facilities after some remodelling work designed to further improve the student experience.

The art studios have been augmented by a new dedicated learning space within the department, whilst construction is nearing completion on a new collaborative learning space for students following the social sciences.

All students are benefitting from a new tutorial room in the heart of the sixth form space, as well as improved social spaces for dining and down time.

Speaking about the investment, headteacher Tim Alderman said: “Since moving in four years ago, our new building has proven to be a fantastic learning environment for all students. With the onset of the pandemic we have, however, seen learning styles change.

“When our post 16 students asked if we could adapt the environment to support their changing needs we were happy to answer the call. It was great to see the improved resources having an instant positive impact, as our post 16 expansion plans continue.”
