St Helens Chamber hold jobs and apprenticeships fair to connect local people with employment opportunities

St Helens Chamber is holding another Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair on 25 January 11am – 3pm at

Mercure Hotel St Helens, for local jobseekers and young people looking to get into work in 2022.

With plenty of businesses recruiting in the area, this event will help to connect local people looking to start a new career in the new year with opportunities in a number of sectors.

The chamber has strong local business connections, and some employers are also offering apprenticeship opportunities to young people looking to start their careers.

With a large list of local employers already confirmed and more to follow, there is sure to be roles available to suit every career goal.

As the National Careers Service for St Helens, St Helens Chamber’s qualified careers advisers will also be on hand during the event to give free and impartial careers advice. The chamber can also sign attendees up to a range of free short courses to add extra skills to their CV’s.

Mike Unsworth, career development manager at St Helens Chamber, said: “We’re looking forward to this event and think that the timing will be perfect for people looking to start the new year with a new career.

“Plenty of local employers have come to us with vacancies they need to fill and there’s lots of opportunities for apprentices looking to start their careers too. We hope that this Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair will be as successful as the last and we can connect lots of local people with fantastic employers.”
