Learning without limits

Leaders at Childwall Sports and Science Academy make every effort to ensure that learning has no limits within its school community.

This year’s exam results demonstrate the improvements recognised in the recent 2021 OFSTED report. The hard work and commitment of staff, students and parents, throughout yet another difficult year is evident in the welldeserved success that can be celebrated.

Staff at Childwall have ensured that all students remained engaged in live learning throughout lockdown. Student attainment and progress has improved significantly in all year groups. 100% of sixth form students were offered their first-choice destination.

Learning at Childwall is delivered in many different formats. A recent example of this was the ‘World in one School’ Festival that was delivered in July 2021. Students in all year groups worked with artists, actors, performers, film makers, musicians, to explore the theme of freedom in different mediums. Culture and communication were key to all the activities that took place.

Headteacher, Ms Vincent said: “Childwall is an ambitious learning community. We value our ability to read and understand language for our learning. Teachers in our school continue to learn and we make every effort to explore new opportunities that will prepare our students for their future careers or chosen pathways.”
