Shortlist coming soon!

The Educate Awards has confirmed the shortlist for this year’s awards will be announced imminently.

Following the deadline in July, the team has been overwhelmed by the amount of entries that were submitted. The submissions are now being prepared for the judges and the calibre of them all are truly excellent.

Joining this year’s esteemed judging panel is Linsey Lunny, founder of the new associate sponsor, Hidden Strength. Hidden Strength is the first mental health portal to build an online community that serves its users in keeping with their digital lives.

The mental health platform is sponsoring the Mental Health & Wellbeing Award and Linsey’s knowledge and own experiences will support the judging process for this category.

Gill Walsh, Careers Hub lead at new associate sponsor, LCR Careers Hub, will also form part of the judging panel for a number of categories including the Leadership Team of Year, Careers & Enterprise Award and SEND Provision Award.

LCR Careers Hub, part of the Growth Platform, works with school and college leadership teams to build careers and employer engagement plans. Gill has a wealth of experience that will help decide the shortlist and overall winners.

The Educate Awards event is scheduled to take place on 19 November at the Liverpool Cathedral.

Kim O’Brien, founder of the Educate Awards, said: “We have been truly impressed by the strength of the entries received this year and would like to thank everyone who took the time to send in their submissions.

“The shortlisting process is lengthy as we have to carefully check each submission meets the category criteria before sending to the judges. Having Linsey and Gill on board will ensure the judging continues to be fair and carried out by the experts in the respective fields.”
