Chamber releases calendar of summer careers events

St Helens Chamber is hosting a range of careers events over the summer months, showcasing its range of options for young people across St Helens and Liverpool.

The events will provide a perfect opportunity for advice and guidance to help jobseekers have the best chances of success.

Laura Brogden, head of career development at St Helens Chamber, said: “We understand everyone has different interests and career goals, so we’re offering a range of different events so that students can find out about our courses and access the support that’s right for them.

“We would encourage anyone looking to progress into an apprenticeship to come along on one of our events and find out what’s on offer.”

Open events are taking place at the Chamber’s St Helens town centre building, its construction training centre, its hair & beauty academy and its Liverpool City Centre base.

Laura added: “We have a strong career development department at St Helens Chamber and we are really keen to support any local young people wanting to start their career journey. As a Chamber of Commerce, we have strong links with businesses across the region, meaning we always have exclusive access to apprenticeship vacancies and in depth knowledge of which industries are growing locally, so we can match people’s skills to roles they might not have considered.”
