This year’s Educate Awards shortlist will be announced imminently. Following the deadline in July, the team has been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of entries submitted. In fact, this marks the highest number in over four years. Submissions are now with the judges who will carefully consider each entry and ensure they align with the all-important category criteria. Their expertise and meticulous deliberation will shape the final shortlist. The awards, in partnership with ASL and Ricoh, will take place on Friday 17 November at the Liverpool Cathedral. The glittering event will be jampacked with live performances by schools from around the region. Legendary broadcaster, Simon ‘Rossie’ Ross will return as host for the seventh year. Kim O’Brien, founder of Educate Awards, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year. Once again, we are amazed by the number of entries we have received. “The shortlisting process is lengthy and our esteemed panel of judges are incredibly dedicated as they give up their own time to read and assess each entry. We look forward to revealing the shortlist in September and shining a spotlight on the north west’s education landscape.” Kim added: “We are now in the twelfth year of the awards and plans for another memorable event are well under way. As always, all the latest updates will be shared on our social media channels.” Associate sponsors for 2023 include All About STEM, CER Education, CPMM Media Group, SENDSCOPE, Liverpool John Moores University, LSSP, LCR Careers Hub, SupplyWell and Angel Solutions.
